Sussex Roof Surveys Ltd. - Terms and Conditions

2. Services Provided
​
-We provide roof inspection and survey services using drones, ladders and scaffolding including:
- High-resolution photography and video
- Roof condition reports
-All inspections are non-invasive and observational in nature.
3. Bookings and Cancellations
​
- Bookings must be made in advance via our website, phone, or email.
- Payment is due prior to us attending the property
- A confirmation will be sent upon acceptance.
- You may cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the scheduled inspection.
-Cancellations within 48 hours will incur 50% crache of the original booking fee.
- We reserve the right to cancel due to unsafe flying conditions, including weather or airspace restrictions. In such cases, we will reschedule at no extra cost.
4. Access and Permissions

- The customer must ensure safe and legal access to the property and airspace.
- You must have authority to commission a drone inspection on the premises.
- We may require written permission for commercial properties or areas near restricted zones.
5. Weather and Flight Safety
​
- Drone flights are subject to weather conditions and must comply with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) rules.
- If weather prevents a flight, we will reschedule the appointment.
- Flights may be refused or terminated on site for safety reasons at the operator's discretion.
6. Data and Reports
​
- Images, video, and reports remain the intellectual property of Sussex Roof Surveys.
- Clients are granted a licence to use the deliverables for personal or business property management purposes only.
- We do not guarantee detection of all defects; our inspections are visual and non-invasive.
7. Fees and Payment
​
- All prices are stated in GBP and include VAT unless otherwise noted.
- A deposit is required to confirm a booking.
- Full payment is due within 5 working days of invoice unless otherwise agreed.
- Late payments may incur interest or administration fees.
8. Liability
​
- We are insured for public liability and drone operations under UK law.
- We accept no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- We are not responsible for structural issues, defects, or deterioration discovered after the inspection.
9. Insurance and Compliance
​
- All drone operations are carried out by licensed and insured pilots in accordance with CAA regulations.
- We hold necessary commercial drone operator permissions (e.g. GVC or A2 CofC certifications).
10. Client Responsibilities
​
- Provide accurate information about the site and any known hazards.
- Ensure all pets, people, and obstructions are clear of the inspection area during the visit.
- Notify us of any changes to the booking or access arrangements.
11. Confidentiality and Privacy

- Client data will be handled in accordance with our

12. Complaints and Disputes
